Today in the Facebook group, ‘Cedar City Word of Mouth’, Rylan Leo Pinarelli posed the question “What are the best spots in Cedar for a GOOOOD BITE?” Comments were rolling in about Market Grill, Silver Silo, Cafe Sabor, Los Flores, and more. Which, I’ve only tried a few of those, but it got me thinking… When I’m in Cedar City where would I want to go eat? Now that Sizzler is gone, I need some new places to try!
HONORABLE MENTIONS:
Second East:
Second East is a new spot in Cedar City on the northern end of town. They’ve got an incredible interesting menu, and an even more interesting Salad Bar… Trust me. Go see it. But they’ve also got soups, sandwiches, salads, pastas, ice creams, and more! I was very pleasantly surprised when I tried Second East in Cedar City!
Bowling Alley Diner:
Many people probably wouldn’t believe you if you said it… But some of the best food in Cedar City can be found in a bowling alley! That’s right… THE BOWLING ALLEY! They’ve got probably the best burger in all of Cedar!
Brody’s:

Brody’s has really high reviews on Google, but all I’ve had there is their Street Tacos, and their chips and Salsa! Both amazing! But just off their reviews alone, it seems that Brody’s is a major hit on the other foods on their menus!
Asian Bistro:

Another place with really high Google Reviews, Asian Bistro! They have really big portions. Great for sharing, or taking home leftovers. Some people have even said it’s the BEST Chinese food they’ve ever had!
CEDAR CITY’S TOP 5 RESTAURANTS:
5. All American Diner:

A total Mom & Pop shop in the heart of Cedar City. I’m always a sucker for breakfast at the All-American Diner, but their burgers are delicious, I really love their curly fries, and their other hot sandwiches are great too. If you’re at the All-American Diner, you really can’t go wrong with WHATEVER you order!
4. Amber Kay’s Cafe:

Whenever asking the question about restaurants in Cedar City, “Amber Kay’s Cafe” will ALWAYS come up in the conversation. They’ve got great breakfast, and it really has a “Small town feel” inside. I’m not a salad guy, but I’ve had people tell me their salads are awesome, and I’ve heard a lot of good things about their Chicken Fried Steak!
3. Silver Silo:

The Silver Silo Bakery and Espresso, has a LOT of stuff on their menu that you should try. First that comes to mind is their Sputnuts. Everything feels and tastes very homemade, and never like you’re at some chain restaurant. The atmosphere is cool, and their building is awesome and unique!
2. Market Grill:

Another place with a really cool building and atmosphere is Market Grill. It’s attached to the livestock market, so the food is incredibly fresh! Once again, another great place for some breakfast food, and the staff is friendly and treats you like you’re a regular. This is another place you’re going to feel like your Grandma is cooking for you again!
1. Centro Pizza:

Hands down… my #1 has to be Centro Pizza! They’ve got some absolutely incredible wood-fired pizza! I believe it’s Neapolitan style, so don’t expect a pie like you’d get at Dominos. You’ll get some char on the crust, and it’s just perfect. You may not be able to just stumble in, because it’s usually pretty packed. So plan accordingly, and maybe try to get a reservation… But do NOT miss out on Centro Pizza!
