Cedar City turns 175 this month, and the community is invited to celebrate with a free evening of family activities and a birthday spectacular downtown.
The citywide celebration is set for Wednesday, November 11 at Heritage Theater, 105 N. 100 E. Family activities begin in the Heritage Center Theatre Lobby, with an evening program to follow on the Main Stage.
An evening built for the community
The early portion of the celebration will include family fun, games, puzzles, bingo, a birthday scavenger hunt and prizes. It is a low pressure way to bring kids, neighbors and visiting family members together before the evening performance.
At 7:30 p.m., the Cedar City Birthday Spectacular takes the Main Stage. The program is meant to recognize the city’s history and the people who continue shaping its next chapter.
